Capuchin FM Radio is a simple radio application that supports RDS. The interface is designed with with a minimalist "retro" look and feel.

You can tune the radio by using the left and right navigation pad to go across the spectrum. The channels are discovered automatically so you only need to press once in a given direction to find the next available channel.

Please ensure you have wired earphones connected which act as an aerial. If you cannot find any channels, try again in a different position.

The user interface is built using Flash Lite and the radio functionality is exposed through the Sony Ericsson Java ME platform and the Advanced Multimedia Supplements API (JSR 234).

You can download Capuchin FM Radio using your phone browser through http://labs.sonyericsson.com/mobile

Note that a phone that supports Project Capuchin is required - http://tinyurl.com/npt6st

Nice application. It`s very easy to save a favorite station.

Nice, very nice!
But you should handle event device_unavailble since it will indicate that no antenna is connected.

Had some problems with this app on my W715. Seems like key presses were not handled correctly. I couldn't change the frequency and when I tried adding a new Preset it asked me to name it but the dialog wasn't active so I couldn't enter anything (the list in the background had the focus).

help the tm506 doesn't have all the right tools please help (groan)!

oooh, this one is sooo cool. Radio is so retro but so cool. I love the look and feel of this app, nice work! amanda@vistaprint.com

The application is cool, easy to use and I think it employs some of Sony Ericsson Flash UI components. There is one little issue I encountered when I disconnected the headphone set. Existing the application right after that took some time. Otherwise it looks nice.

Very nice, but it does not work on my c702 which have everything needed for except the name in the 33 match phones list (c702 has flash lite 2 java platform 8 and ...). Is it possible which this software works on my device ?(i.e. in future).( Or does anybody no a magic jad file that make these apps working on phones like c702).

One thing missing from this and the built-in radio app is the ability to route the sound over Bluetooth. Can this be added?

error for my phone w595
