Sony Ericsson User Interface Team

We work on creating and evolving the user interface found on most Sony Ericsson phones. In order to do this we investigate new technologies to help us achieve our mission in building a great user experience. We build prototypes to support and highlight the new user interface technologies and paradigms that we working with.

One technology that we have been exploring and developing is Project Capuchin which is essentially a fusion of Flash Lite and Java ME platforms. It essentially allows designers to work in Flash and developers to work with Java ME and bridges the best of both platforms.

We have included a number of our Project Capuchin applications in Sony Ericsson Labs so please give them a go and we welcome your comments and ideas.
